Silent rehearsal devices

There are currently several excellent devices for "silent" rehearsal with multiple musicians:

From Roland:

- the "Session Mixer HS-5 ", for up to 5 musicians, with recording capability. You can link two mixers so you can double the number of musicians;

Jamhub models:

What you see is what you get, each button has only 1 function, making it very easy to operate. Only the vocals have effects.
Three models: Bedroom (for up to five musicians), the Greenroom (for up to 7 musicians) and the Tourbus (for up to 7 musicians. Only the Tourbus model also has a recording option (all on 1 track). You can also use a Jamhub Tracker Connect the MT16 to (any) Jamhub model to make recordings (each channel on a separate track). With a Jamhub breakout cable you can also connect the Tracker to a regular mixing console and thus record up to 16 tracks. Almost all Jamhubs have a rubber coating which has become sticky and dirty over the years. Only a few Special Editions of the Jamhub Greenroom and the Tracker MT16 were made with a hard plastic housing, these models are extremely popular and sell for around €1000.

Roland HS-5 Session Mixer:

For max 5 musicians.
There are multiple functions under each button, which makes it more difficult to use. Each channel (vocal and instrument) has multiple effects. Recordings at the touch of a button, but only on 1 track. Settings can be saved. You can connect two mixers so that you can double the number of musicians.
