BEAUTIFUL SELMER RADIAL TRUMPET Model 75 in C; Bb Slide * Maurice ANDRE Model SILVER PLATED Serial Number 51594 Vintage 1970 Bore Size 0.462 inch Bell 5.058 inch * This Trumpet Model was created by Maurice André. The pistons valves orientation was perfectly fitted to the finger work and reduced too the touch track use. It was made on factory from 1968 to 1976. However, this technical orientation was not manufactured any more after this period because it cost a lot and it was not easy to manufacture. The Number written on the lead pipe "75" corresponding to the reference model was used on manufacturing for recalling the type of bore size. Here "75" means 0.462inch and was the first original model created in 1968. Afterwards, the "66" and "99" Models came, corresponding to different bore sizes. * The pistons valves are in a very good shape, smooth, and move quickly. The Compression is good. * This Selmer Trumpet is a very well known instrument, scarcely found and considered as a high class-level Instrument. Its sound is quite specific to Selmer's, round and with a good & bright projection with a quite homogeneous sound for the whole tessiture with easy high notes.
